The i-Pro line of generators from Honda Power Equipment features inverter technology that reduces weight and size by 33 percent and features the EcoThrottle load-dependent throttle system that reduces noise and emissions with up to a 30 percent increase in fuel economy. Along with Honda's other new line, the i-Deluxe, the i-Pro is the most powerful portable inverter generator on the market and is the only one of its kind to offer 120/240 dual voltage with a selector switch, the maker says. The i Pro comes in 5,000- and 6,500-watt models. Designed for construction applications, the units are GFCI-protected to meet OSHA jobsite regulations.
