Nailer accessory - Great gadgets: cools tools for $100 or less
Tools of the Trade, Nov-Dec, 2003 by David R. Crosby
These swivel-action little gems make working with nailers easier than ever. The Industrial Ball Swivel Connectors replace the male coupling on your nailer, and their ability to swivel eliminates twisting and kinking in the air hose, so you can move around freely; in other words, the ball swivel joint keeps the gun hose from turning into a Slinky.
The connectors, which fit any pneumatic tool with a standard thread, also provide about 15 degrees of lateral movement, meaning you can twist the nailer 15 degrees in any direction before you're actually tugging on the hose. The reduction in wrist and forearm fatigue alone is worth the price of the accessory. What's more, the connectors don't leak air like some cheaper fittings I've used. If you own air tools and don't already have these, put the magazine down and go buy some right now. * Industrial Ball Swivel Connectors 15-04BS. $7 each.
