Teem Photonics joins Fiber-to-the-Home Council to support drive to further fiber optic broadband access to US subscribers

Teem Photonics, a provider of ultra-compact photonic solutions for high bandwidth optical networks, announced that it has joined the Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) Council. Formed in 2001, the FTTH Council educates, promotes and accelerates the investment in FTTH technology. Teem joins an 80 member roster of equipment manufacturers, integrators and service providers involved in this growing FTTH market to provide future broadband applications for work, telemedicine, education, entertainment, commerce, community outreach and security for subscribe.

Teem Photonics manufactures passive products, including planar splitters, for deployment in FTTx - PON architectures as well as in Central Office or Outside Plant for broadband signal distribution applications.
