Terawave Communications breaks the 1,000-node mark

Terawave Communications, a manufacturer of optical access solutions, announced that collectively, its customers have now deployed over 1,000 optical access nodes worldwide. This milestone, achieved less than a year after announcing general availability of the Terawave family of products, comes as the company closed its third consecutive quarter of revenue growth.

The company also disclosed that Comcor, a Russian carrier offering residential and business broadband services in the Moscow metropolitan area, is deploying Terawave nodes at a rate of over 100 per month.
