Quantum Bridge Communications Inc., a leading provider of FTTP solutions, announced its selection by cable pioneer Service Electric Cable TV and Communications, to provide the FTTP infrastructure for a regional network delivering broadband services to the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce as well as other local businesses in Pennsylvania.

Service Electric is a leading provider of both residential and business broadband services with over 300,000 subscribers in the region. Service Electric is deploying Quantum Bridge equipment in their advanced fiber-optic network in the Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania. The use of Quantum Bridge's equipment affords Service Electric the ability to maximize fiber utilization as they continue to provide advanced, broadband services to their customers. This enables the economical delivery of flexible data and voice services to business customers across Eastern Pennsylvania.

The First Office Application interconnects several Downtown Bethlehem businesses including the Chamber of Commerce. Quantum Bridge's carrier-class QB5000 and QB3000 Optical Line Terminals are deployed at Service Electric's master headend facility and regional hubs.
