Walker and Associates forges agreement with Transmode Systems AB

Walker & Associates Inc., a telecommunications equipment distributor and services provider, announced that it has entered into an agreement with Transmode Systems AB to market, resell, and support CWDM optical systems throughout the US. Transmode Systems AB manufactures products based on CWDM, a technology for sending multiple channels over a single fiber.

The technology is a further development from the more traditional DWDM and enables more flexible, robust and above all more cost effective networks.
