Rogers Wireless will distribute Summus Games and Applications to wireless subscribers through its navigate mobile Internet service

Summus Inc., a provider of mobile media applications that optimize the consumer wireless experience, recently announced that it has launched six mobile applications on the Rogers Wireless navigate mobile Internet. Rogers Wireless, Canada's largest integrated wireless voice and data network, operates the navigate mobile Internet, which is a gateway for customers to access games, ring tunes, graphics, and more.

Through the relationship with Summus, customers of Rogers Wireless' navigate mobile Internet will be able to download a suite of applications to their wireless handsets, including five popular Summus games:

--Nineball(TM), the mobile version of the popular billiards game;

--Ultimate Golf Challenge(TM), a realistic golf experience;

--Fun2Link, a mind-boggling puzzle game;

--Mobi Escape, an award-winning strategy game;

--Click 3(TM) TriBond(R), a pop culture trivia game based on the popular board game, TriBond(R).

In addition, Rogers Wireless plans to launch Summus' multi-player Texas Hold'Em game, developed in cooperation with Phil Hellmuth, nine-time World Series of Poker Champion. Additional titles from the Summus upcoming suite of products may be offered to Rogers Wireless' customers over the coming months.

"Through our relationship with Rogers Wireless, Summus is gaining a strong foothold on the fast-growing Canadian wireless market," said Gary Ban, CEO of Summus. "As we add wireless carriers to our ever-growing list of partners distributing our products, we secure opportunities for continued, on-going revenue growth."

Analysts estimate that 22.6 million Canadians will use wireless data by 2006. The Canadian wireless market is not as saturated as many global markets, so it has a large potential for growth. Currently, 40 percent of Canadians use a cell phone. Canadian wireless service revenue is expected to grow to C$10.8 billion in 2007, with non-voice services playing an increasingly larger role in the market, according to the Electronics Industry Market Research and Knowledge Network.
