5G Wireless announced that it has been awarded the contract to provide high-speed wireless connectivity for the City of Garden Grove, California utilizing 5G's proprietary Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11b equipment. Charles Kalil, Information Systems Manager for the City of Garden Grove, stated, "We've tried a wireless solution in the past and were terribly disappointed. We have many city sub-stations that need to be on the network with city hall and up until 5G came along, there was no economical solution to bring them on line."

5G Wireless Communications Inc., located in Marina del Rey, CA, manufactures, designs, builds, deploys and operates wireless broadband network systems utilizing its proprietary technology designed for the IEEE 802.1 lb standard.
