5G Wireless announced that it has been awarded the contract to provide high-speed wireless connectivity for the City of Garden Grove, California utilizing 5G's proprietary Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11b equipment. Charles Kalil, Information Systems Manager for the City of Garden Grove, stated, "We've tried a wireless solution in the past and were terribly disappointed. We have many city sub-stations that need to be on the network with city hall and up until 5G came along, there was no economical solution to bring them on line."
