Navini Networks, a provider of wireless broadband technology, announced it is teaming with Compaq Computer Corp. to deliver the first wireless broadband access to a handheld personal computer. Navini has developed a custom expansion pack for the Compaq iPAQ Pocket PC that contains Navini's CPE technology.

The new sleeve will give iPAQ users true broadband capabilities. This wireless experience, not previously available on any handheld PC, allows for high bandwidth applications such as streaming video.
