NEC America Inc. and Abiliti Solutions announced a partnership that allows service providers to easily implement cost-effective and flexible handling of IP and wireless data events. NEC's IPHarvest real-time data mediation package collects event records then standardizes and aggregates the data before sending it on to Abiliti Solutions' EventProcessor which rates and adds customer information before feeding billing, settlement and analysis applications.

Through this integrated solution, service providers can realize more reliable revenue assurance, transform data into working business intelligence, increase revenue and profits, and reduce the cost of ownership compared to competitive platforms.
