MeshNetworks Inc., a developer or mobile broadband networking technology, announced a joint technology and market-development initiative with ViewSonic Corporation designed to bring PDAs and Tablet PC customers high speed access to the Internet.

MeshNetworks' technology allows mobile computing devices to automatically become part of a network by enabling the devices to interact with each other. This is achieved through patented MultiHopping routing technology used in conjunction with industry standard Wi-FT or MeshNetworks' proprietary, high-performance radios. The system supports IP-based multimedia services (voice, data, video and precision location) for mobile personal Internet devices, as well as for fixed wireless networks.
