Switchboard Inc., a provider of directory technology and online "yellow pages" solutions, announced an expansion of its relationship with AT&T Wireless. The deal adds Switchboard's core interactive services, including business and private listings, reverse phone number look-up, and driving directions, to AT&T's mMode service. This tightly integrated suite of services joins Switchboard's product locator service, also available on mMode, and enables consumers to instantly locate names, phone numbers and street addresses of businesses, friends, and colleagues.

Users can access Switchboard's directory assistance, mapping, and merchandising services through their compatible AT&T Wireless phones with mMode. These services offer wireless customers a free alternative to costly directory assistance calls, while simultaneously providing AT&T with a medium to increase customers' use of their services.

mMode provides dozens of unique services that enable AT&T Wireless customers to use their wireless phones for much more than placing phone calls. mMode gives AT&T Wireless customers with compatible phones access to the information and people they care about most with but a few clicks of their keypads. mMode is available in all AT&T Wireless GSM/GPRS markets.
