Mobile Internet, The, May, 2002
National Scientific Corporation announced that Esemde Inc., a mobile wireless virtual network operator (MVNO), will be providing the data transport platform for NSC's newly launched product line of GPS/GSM cellular tracking devices, Followit and Urban Tracker II.
National Scientific's tracking and location devices work on GSM cellular networks, which currently serve the majority of the world's mobile users. The tracking units use the SMS data feature of this technology to transfer positional information between NSC's lightweight wireless devices and web users located worldwide. Esemde's open-architecture platform can be seamlessly deployed across the multiple wireless standards existing in the U.S. and the rest of the world, by such carriers as Vodafone, AT&T Wireless, Cingular and Voicestream, providing NSC's customers with unmatched roaming flexibility.

The NSC tracking device can keep track of your car, bike, valuables, girlfriend, husband, teenager, child or almost anything that moves. What differentiate NSC's location products from any other line of GPS devices on the market today is its small, self-contained design, extended battery-life and internal antenna configuration. Most importantly, NSC devices require no additional monthly fee; they come pre-bundled with more than two hundred location requests already included--unlike any other comparable tracking solution available today.
