Sun Microsystems and Vuico LLC announced the availability of JAVA-based wireless infrastructure solutions for creating, assembling and deploying Web services. As the exclusive provider of NTT Software's advanced wireless Internet middleware solutions to the Americas, Vuico provides mobile Java technology-based applications with transparent access to Web services through NTT Software's BLUEGRID software. These solutions leverage the Sun ONE product architecture, Sun's standards-based software vision, architecture, and platform for building and deploying services on demand, allowing Vuico to provide a significant competitive edge to customers by offering advanced wireless technology built to global standards and designed for rapid development and deployment of Web Services, giving subscribers access to a rich array of wireless Internet services.
