Jupiter-based BabyUniverse Inc., an online marketer of baby merchandise, merged with eToys Direct Inc., also an online seller of toys, along with products for older children. BabyUniverse, which reported $35.5 million revenue for 2006, will move to eToys' Denver headquarters and be renamed The Parent Co.
The public company, which traded on NASDAQ as POSH, will now trade on NASDAQ under the temporary ticker POSHD until the name change takes place. It will then trade under KIDS.
