Matecumbe Capital Management Inc. (based in Fort Lauderdale) paid $21.5 million for 254.076 square feet in nine buildings next to Davie Park of Commerce and Plantation Technology Park. CB Richard Ellis represented the seller in the purchase of the property from Fort Lauderdale-based Rand Industry Realty Inc.

Miami-based Costex Corp. purchased 160,000 square feet of warehouse and office buildings on 17 acres of land off the Palmetto Expressway and 58th Street in Miami-Dade for $21 million. The site will allow the company, which has one of the largest inventories of replacement parts for Caterpillar, to expand its current warehouses. ComReal Miami Inc. brokered the transaction for Costex.

New York-based Residential developer Tarragon Corp. sold a one-acre lot in Fort Lauderdale to Iowa-based Principal Real Estate Investors and Texas-based Simmons Vedder & Co. for $15 million. CB Richard Ellis brokered the deal. The vacant land, at 100 E. Las Olas Blvd., is to become a high-rise, mixed-use project.
