Spin city - Media Watch - Sun-Sentinel - Miami Herald - Brief Article

South Florida CEO, Jan, 2003 by Johanna Marmon

* When it comes to the local media, sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between the facts and the interpretation of the facts. This as painfully apparent last month when both The Sun-Sentinel and The Miami Herald ran stories about the release of Miami-based Strategy Research's annual report on buying power in Latin America.

The Herald's headline about the report: "Latin Buying Power Takes Trip South." The Sun-Sentinel's s headline: "Latin Markets Retain Allure." So, is the glass half full, or half empty?
