The 'last frontier' of Miami Beach: North Beach, long ignored by developers obsessed with the hip lure of South Beach, is suddenly on the radar as developers move north

Reflecting on the success of 6000 Indian Creek -- as well as other North Beach developments -- Bloomberg says the community ultimately will be an attractive mix of older and newer properties. "One of the great elements contributing to South Beach's success over the years has been that integration of older and newer properties," he says.
"That approach adds to the fabric of the entire community. We are already seeing the same thing happening in the North Beach area. With that dynamic combination of new and existing upscale development, property values will continue to escalate. Certainly, the development community has a lot of confidence in this area."
