New bureaus opened - Big Deals - Hollywood Reporter - Brief Article

* Well-known Beverly Hills talent and literary agency William Morris announced it will open a Miami Beach office in April. The agency will install senior vice president Raul Mateu -- who will relocate from the company's New York office -- as head of the new branch. The last time William Morris ventured into new territory was 1973, when it opened an office in Nashville to tap into the country music market, In Miami, it hopes to penetrate the Latin entertainment market.

In related news, the Los Angeles-based Hollywood Reporter has opened a bureau in Miami, which will cover breaking entertainment news from Florida and the Southeast US. The Miami bureau, headed by chief Deborah Wilkner, joins New York and Washington, DC as the Reporter's East Coast offices.
