* Universal Music Publishing Group has signed an exclusive agreement to administer the publishing interests of Emilio Estefan's music publishing companies (Foreign Imported Productions & Publishing and Estefan Music Publishing, Inc.) and Gloria Estefan's song catalog. Gloria Estefan was previously published through EMI, while Emilic's companies were previously administered by Sony/ATV.

The deal will allow Universal to administer more than 3,000 titles by artists such as Shakira, Gloria Estefan, Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Ricky Martin and Alejandro Fernandez. UMPG has 47 offices in 41 countries around the world. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
