Move over, waterfront: land-locked broward goes for $350+ per square foot - Real Estate: Home Sales

* Normandy Isle on the Bay: A 3,178-square-foot Biscayne Bay-front home at 1310 Bay Dr. in Miami Beach's Normandy Isle sold for $1.35 million ($425 per square foot) to Yolande Citro. The home, owned by Pierre-Louis and Georgette Ansaldi, last sold for $640,000 in 2000.

* Single-Family On the Ocean: Alfred R. Chouniard II paid $3.25 million ($645 per square foot) for a 3,848-squarefoot home on the Ocean at 407 Ocean Blvd. in Golden Beach. British Virgin Islands-based Casablanca Properties Ltd. had paid $1 .13 million for the 14,000-square-foot propertyin 1996.

* Historic Fort Lauderdale Neighborhood I: A 3,624square-foot home at 210 S. Victoria Park Rd. in Fort Lauderdale, just north of Las Olas Boulevard, sold for $1.28 million ($352 per square foot) to John R. Haynie Jr. Sellers Manuel and Marlene Aguero had paid $636,000 for the home in 1996.

* Historic Fort Lauderdale Neighborhood II: Daniel J. Melk and Kimberly Melk paid $1.8 million ($356 per square foot) for a 5,058-square-foot house in Fort Lauderdale's Himmarshee Park neighborhood. The home, at 1131 SE Fourth St., was sold by Magda Alzuri, Robert L. Kagan and Bonnie Barnett. It's last sale was for $1.7 million in 2000.

* Brewer in Weston: Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Jeffrey B. Hammonds and wife Keisha Hammonds paid $2.6 million ($352 per square foot) for a 7,390-square-foot home in Weston's Windmill Ranch Estates. The lakefront house, at 2950 Meadow Lane, was purchased from Pacific Corp. Weston, which paid $1.31 million for it in 1999.

* Country Club Golf-Front: Two golf-course-fronting homes recently sold in Boca Raton's Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club. Sasson and Renata Moulavi paid $1 .7 million ($201 per square foot) for a 8,469-square-foot house at 1576 Thatch Palm Dr.; it was purchased by seller John M. Doelp for $1.7 million in 2000. W. Joseph and Bonnie Scaggs paid Richard St. Hilaire $1.5 million ($283 per square foot) for a 5,303-square-foot house at 1939 Thatch Palm Dr. The house last sold for $900,000 in 1997.

* Ocean Ridge Intracoastal: A 4,160-square-foot house on the Intracoastal Waterway in Ocean Ridge sold for $2 million ($481 per square foot) to Eric J. and Jill Brown. The house, at 9 Inlet Cay Dr., last sold to William M. and Ellen Wheelen for $1 million in 2000.
