Alicia Cervera. Jr. "the South Florida real estate market has proven to be resilient. … as for the future, we are all concerned. It would be silly to look at the world situation and be brash about it. But if you had to pick a place to be in the middle of what's happening, this is the place." - In Play

BACKGROUND: The Cervera name has been synonymous with high-end residential real estate sales since the late 1970s, when Cervera's mother, Alicia Cervera Sr., began brokering properties on Brickell Avenue and in Bal Harbour. Cervera Jr. joined her mother's firm in the early 1980s, and made her mark with such luxury condos as The Imperial, Villa Regina and Bristol Towers. In 2001, Cervera Jr. partnered with mega developer Jorge Perez to market such buildings as Murano and Portofino. The firm currently markets Murano Grande, 2080 Ocean Drive, ICON, The Moorings in Lantana, The Slade in West Palm Beach and One Miami.

AMBITION: To get the Master Brokers Forum membership more actively involved in running the organization, and to expand that membership to Broward and Palm Beach counties, reflecting the growing tricounty marketplace.
