Waterfront tops $1,000 a square foot in Key Biscayne—and in Lighthouse Point - Home Sales

Miami-Dade:
* Key Biscayne and the Bay: British Virgin Islands firm Rander Investing paid $2.95 million ($1,210 per square foot) for a 2,438-square-foot home overlooking Biscayne Bay on Key Biscayne. The seller was a living trust for Charlotte S. Telischak.

* Marc Anthony Buys Into Fisher Island: Singer Marc Anthony has reportedly paid just under $4 million for a 7,000-square-foot condominium on Miami Beach's Fisher Island.

* Pine Tree Perfection: A company owned by Scott Robins sold a 3,765-square-foot house, at 6301 Pine Tree Dr. in Miami Beach, to Anthony R. Marotta for $1.65 million ($438 per square foot). The waterfront home, on a 21,140-square-foot lot, last sold for $1 million in 2001.
* Lots of Land: Luis-Phillipe Vanier and Arlene Vanier paid $1.9 million ($330 per square foot) for a 5,764-square-foot home, on one acre, at 4750 SW 80th St. in Miami-Dade County. Seller Roonipooni, whose chief executive is Pauline Mansfield, paid $1.2 million for the home in 2000.
Broward:
* Big-Ticket in Deerfield: A 5,882-square-foot home on the Intracoastal in Deerfield Beach sold for $3.11 million ($528 per square foot) to Mark W. Clark. Sellers Michael Osburn and Christine Osburn paid $350,000 in 1996 for the land, at 1550 SE 12th St.
* Building Up: Cobalt Resources sold a 2,222-square-foot home in the Hillsboro Isles section of Lighthouse Point for $2.52 million ($1,134 per square foot). Buyers Robert Anderson and Katherine Anderson purchased the home, which sits on a waterway with access to the Intracoastal. Cobalt paid $695,000 for the site, at 2357 NE 25th St., in 2001.
Palm Beach:
* History Sells: A home in West Palm Beach's EI Cid area, built in 1925 and designated worthy of historic preservation, sold for $1.85 million ($426 per square foot). Buyer Jennifer J. Naegele purchased the 4,344-square-foot home, on an interior lot at 255 Valencia Rd. Sellers Steve J. Davis and Leslie Davis paid $775,200 for the home in 1999.
* "Island" In the City: Frederic B. Asche Jr. and Evelyn Asche paid $4.1 million ($744 per square foot) for a 5,513-square-foot home in Palm Beach's Everglades Island development. The home, at 569 Island Drive, fronts the Intracoastal Waterway. Sellers Runyon F. Doss Jr. and Sarah Doss paid $1.8 million for the home in 1989.
