LNR goes to the beach - Big Deals
South Florida CEO, August, 2002
* LNR Property Corp. a spinoff of homebuilder grant Lennar announced that it will move its headquarters office - and 240 employees - to Miami Beach by November, leaving its current digs in West Miami-Dade LNR owns and leases part of the building that it will-occupy Earlier this summer the Miami Beach City Commission decided against paying LNR $720,000 in incentives to coax the company - charted by Stuart Miller - to move.
Two years ago, LNR signed a 12 year lease for three floors of their new office building on 16 Steer and Washington Avenue.
