New hospitals on the way - Big deals: following the money - Kendall Regional Medical Center - Baptist Health South Florida - Brief Article

* Two hospitals in South Florida have received the green light from the state to each build a new hospital in the western part of Kendall. Coral Gables-based Baptist Health South Florida and Kendall Regional Medical Center will both build 80-bed hospitals; Baptist already has a location and hopes to open the new facility by 2007, while Kendall Regional has yet to secure a site.
Kendall Regional is owned by HCA, which is based in Nashville, Tennessee.
