Juno Beach-based FPL Group Inc. bought a majority interest in the Duane Arnold Energy Center near Cedar Rapids, Iowa. FPL paid Iowa-based Interstate Power & Light about $387 million for the 598-megawatt nuclear power plant, which services customers in the Midwest.
