Barclays Financial Center - Big Deals: Miami-Dade

While the dollar price tag is not as high, the price per-square-foot beats the First Union Financial Center deal by almost 11 percent: Spain's Vallehermoso Group has signed a $130 million contract to buy the 32-story, 523,000-square-foot Barclays Financial Center at 111 Brickell Ave. - $249 per square foot.
Seller MDM Development of Miami will keep the attached JW Marriott hotel. Vallehermoso took an option to buy the building in 1999.
