Iberinco to Construct Solar Installation at Renewable Facility

Iberdrola Ingenieria y Consultoria (IBERINCO) recently announced it has been awarded the turnkey construction of a 250-kilowatt photovoltaic solar installation and a 20-kilovolt line to connect the system to the grid in Larrion, Spain.
According to the company, construction of the 2-million-euro (approximately $2.7-million) renewable energy facility is expected to begin next month and be completed by April 2005.
IBERINCO noted that it will be responsible for the engineering, purchase of materials, subcontracting of the installation and commissioning, supervision and legalization of the installations.
