NREL Begins Construction of New Renewables Research Facility

The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) held a ceremony earlier this week to celebrate the construction launch of the new Science and Technology Facility in Colorado.

According to NREL, the new facility will be dedicated to researching solar, hydrogen and clean energy technologies.

"This new facility is critical to developing the next generation of America's renewable energy technologies," said NREL director Richard Truly.
