Intrepid Purchases Magic Valley Energy Group

Idaho Falls, ID-based renewable energy company Intrepid Technology and Resources, Inc. recently acquired Magic Valley Energy Coalition, LLC through an outstanding share purchase.
Intrepid said the acquisition will allow it to secure previously unavailable federal grants, loan guarantees and other government assistance.
Magic Valley was formed in 2001 to promote economic development in south central Idaho, and will continue with an ongoing ethanol production project as a subsidiary of Intrepid.
