The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) recently reported that Western Australia's (WA) Labor Party has revealed plans to commit $2.5 million to the construction of a new 2.5-megawatt (MW) solar power generator in the Goldfields region of WA if reelected in the next election.

According to ABC, the generator, which would be comprised of 15 solar panels, would distribute energy to the region's power grid.
