Alliant Energy Corporation recently announced the selection of Clipper Windpower to develop its Endeavor project, which will generate 150 megawatts of wind energy for sale through a purchased power agreement to Alliant subsidiary Interstate Power and Light Company.
Alliant said Clipper will develop the new wind generation facility, which will employ Clipper's 2.5-megawatt Liberty series turbines, near the existing Flying Cloud Wind Farm outside of Spirit Lake, IA.
