Western Area Power Issues RFP for Renewable Energy Certificates

Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) recently announced that its Rocky Mountain Customer Service Region (RMR), in support of the Renewable Energy for Federal Agencies Program, has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for additional renewable energy certificates.
RMR is assisting the purchase of renewable energy certificates by the Department of the Army in Fort Carson, CO; the Denver Federal Executive Board in Denver, CO; the Department of Energy (DOE) Berkeley Site Office in Berkeley, CA; and the DOE's Pantex Plant Amarillo in Texas, Kansas City Plant in Kansas, and Sandia National Laboratories and Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico.
