Renewable Power & Light (RPL), a company based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, will spend $23.6 million on a biodiesel manufacturing facility in upstate New York.

Greenline Industries of California will build the 60 million gallons per year refinery. Greenline will process RPL's bleached, refined and deodorized palm oil into B100 biodiesel. When the biodiesel is blended with 0.1% petroleum diesel it will produce B99.9 biodiesel, which will fuel RPL's power plant in Messena, NY.

An additional 14 million gallons per year of biodiesel will be available for sale in the expanding biofuels market.
