DFC Power Plant Installed at NJ Community College

Fuel Cells Today, April 26, 2004

FuelCell Energy, Inc. and PPL Energy Plus have completed installation of a Direct FuelCell (DFC) power plant at the Ocean County Community College in Toms River, NJ.

According to FuelCell Energy, the DFC power plant will generate 250 kilowatts of electricity.

Partial funding for the project, approximately $827,000, was provided by the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities.
