Nissan Motor Company, Ltd. recently announced it has designed and developed its first in-house fuel cell (FC) stack, as well as a new high-pressure hydrogen storage system.
According to Nissan, the new technologies are anticipated to "significantly" improve the performance required of fuel cell vehicles (FCVs), including acceleration and driving range.
Nissan noted that it will begin in-vehicle testing of the new FC stack in an effort to further improve its overall performance and reliability.
