Parents of the fallen

I JUST wanted to thank Elizabeth Lorge for her wonderful May article about the parents who have turned the loss of their sons into a way to connect with, and support, other parents who find themselves in the same situation.

I can't even begin to imagine what it must be like to lose a child in combat. But I hope that if I ever found myself in that tragic situation I would face it with the same dignity as the parents mentioned in the story. Moreover, I hope that I would be able to reach out from the depths of tragedy, as they did, to comfort and aid others.

Great story. Keep up the good work.
