'Great City Prints' is the impressive new catalogue from Elizabeth Harvey-Lee. It is filled with etchings, drypoints, lithographs and engravings produced in cities all across Europe and beyond, including London, Paris and Venice. Flicking through this publication is rather like taking a scenic stroll through the topography of the centuries; the prints range in date from the seventeenth to the twentieth century.
James McNeill Whistler, Mortimer Menpes, Jules de Bruycker, William Strang and Malcolm Osborne are just a few of the distinguished artists whose beautiful and dramatic prints are included. Works can be viewed by appointment at 1 West Cottages, Middle Aston Road, North Aston, Oxon.
