One of the most prestigious international art and antique Fairs, the Grosvenor House Art and Antiques Fair, was first held in 1934. The Fair has an unrivalled reputation for excellence offering an extraordinary range of exhibits from 92 leading international dealers, from works of museum quality to items for the more modest collector, from antiquities to Georgian silver, spectacular jewellery to the finest examples of furniture, Tang figures to 20th century portraits. Prices range from 200 [pounds sterling] to over 5 million [pounds sterling]. The Fair is presented in association with the British Antique Dealers' Association. This year's loan exhibition on the British Antique Dealers' Association stand features treasures from the splendid interiors of the Speaker's House in the Palace of Westminster as discussed in these pages.
