> China Mobile Communications has reportedly bought Nasdaq-listed international mobile operator Millicom after Dubai-based Investcom dropped out. This would be the company's first acquisition outside Asia and the price is being estimated at about $4bn in cash. Luxemburg-based Millicom is partially owned by Swedish media group Kinnevik and has some 9m subscribers in 16 South American, African and Middle Eastern countries.
