PS: The Preventive Maintenance Monthly, July, 2004
Running your tank engine indoors can be downright dangerous. Besides the usual health problems with exhaust gases, the exhaust itself is much too hot.
The US Army Armor School at Ft Knox developed an exhaust outlet that lets you safely funnel hot exhaust gases under of through modified maintenance bay doors. The exhaust outlet can be used with the powerpack in of out of the tank.
