The Jekyll Club Hotel
Latino Leaders: The National Magazine of the Successful American Latino, June-July, 2004
Jekyll Island is a place of extraordinary, harmonious balance; between land and sea; between humankind and nature. I Situated just off the coast of Georgia on a beautiful barrier island, this Victorian hotel is nestled among live oak trees festooned with Spanish moss.
The Jekyll Island Club Hotel, occupying a variety of restored structures in the heart of the Historic District, is an integral and active partner in the care and operation of Jekyll Island. The hotel is truly a Victorian treasure. Recognized as a National Historic Landmark in 1978, it has been designated a Historic Hotel of America by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Originally a hunting retreat for the nation's wealthy elite, the hotel today is a unique resort with architectural character and a charming historic ambience.
Gracious accommodations set the stage for your landmark experience. The resort presents 157 rooms and suites in five historic settings. Just as club members did a century, ago, you may choose from the Clubhouse (main hotel), the Annex or the Sans Souci buildings.
Room Rates start at $119.00 per person per night.
