Marlin Prince: blue water sport fishing
Latino Leaders: The National Magazine of the Successful American Latino, June-July, 2005
Summer is here and with it, time for adventure. If you're the kind that enjoys fishing, we've found the perfect place to go. The sunny shores of St. Thomas in the Caribbean and Captain Eddie Morrison's 45' Viking boat are sure to provide you the most exalting big game fishing trip of your lifetime. Morrison, who has caught over 1000 blue marlins to date, along with his expert crew, will guide you on a fishing expedition that is sure to leave you with some huge memories and hopefully the same size fish.
Traditional trolling, pitch baiting, stand-up if you want, or fly-fishing techniques are all welcome, as you move about a vessel full of fishing amenities, such as:
* Conventional tackle from 201b up to 80lb. Shimano and Penn 2 speed reels
* Air-Conditioned Interior, full size couch and bar area
* Bent Butt Custom Rods
* Fully-Equipped Galley
* Custom Tournament Tackle
* Custom interior and exterior sound system
* Loomis 16 weight fly-rod
* Curtained, bridge level cushioned sitting area
What makes this a unique experience, however, is the opportunity to catch Blue Marlin. A fish of literary legend, the Blue Marlin certainly makes for a most fascinating catch. The experience of baiting and reeling in one of these beauties is something that all passionate anglers should add to their logbooks, and this charter boat offers the perfect way to do it. Unlike other overcrowded and barely supervised vendors, Marlin Prince offer you the benefits of a charter limited to six people. This gives the crew ample time to supervise each angler, and it also provides for more relaxed, more spacious room in which to make your conquest of the sea. They also carry a fishing license that covers their guests, so you don't have to worry about getting your own.
Marlin Prince offers day trips, with a 4 hour trip at the low end and an extended, 10 hour trip at the high. The fishing charter cost includes all tackle & baits and bottled water, sodas and beer. The price quotes are for the boat, maximum of six guests. Meals are allowed in the boat and can be purchased prior to departure from a variety of establishments near the docking area. Just remember to bring plenty of suntan lotion, food, munchies ... and no bananas, please!
* Prices are: $650 for 4 hours, $900 for six, $1100 for eight and $1300 for 10 hours
