A look into Los Angeles

Latino Leaders: The National Magazine of the Successful American Latino, Oct-Nov, 2004

A new documentary that presents a fascinating look at a city whose population is more than have Latino will air on Tuesday, November 23 at 10:00pm in PBS (check local listings).

The documentary, titled Los Angeles Now, is part of the Independent Television Service's (ITVS) Independent Lens Series, and it was produced and directed by Phillip Rodriguez. The film uses creative visuals and computer-generated imagery to recreate the city's moods and rhythms while exploring challenging questions and provocative points of views. The film also features interviews with some of Los Angeles most prominent personalities, including the actress Salma Hayek, Phil Jackson, former LA Lakers head coach, and Cardinal Roger Mahony, leader of the largest archdiocese in North America, amongst others.
