McDonald's names Aceituno US Communications manager

McDonald's Corporation has appointed seasoned public relations expert Mirna Aceituno as manager of US Communications. Aceituno joins the team after carrying out McDonald's national Hispanic public relations programs for three years at Pasadena-based Valencia, Perez & Echeveste Public Relations. Aceituno was responsible for implementing key Hispanic initiatives.
"While Mirna worked on the McDonald's account, we were impressed with her knowledge of the quick service restaurant industry and her remarkable contacts with top-tier Spanish-language media outlets," said McDonald's Vice President of US Communications Mike Donahue. Aceituno, will serve as the primary spokesperson to Spanish-language media, handle marketing publicity, and oversee the promotion of the McDonald's RMHC/HACER Hispanic scholarship program.
