Generic Famvir® tablets approved

The FDA has recently granted approval to Teva Pharmaceutical Industries, Ltd to market its generic equivalent of Novartis's Famvir (Famciclovir) tablets, 125 mg, 250 mg, and 500 mg. In addition, Teva has been granted a 180-day period of exclusive marketing.
