Effects of therapy on quality of life in melanoma patients receiving different treatments

This study will examine the health-related quality of life in three groups of patients receiving immune therapy for metastatic melanoma (melanoma that has spread from the original site). Group 1 receives vaccine alone; Group 2 receives vaccine plus interleukin-2 given intravenously (through a vein); and Group 3 receives vaccine plus interleukin-2 given subcutaneously (injected under the skin).
