Dusa Pharmaceuticals, Inc., reported that 14/15 patients treated with Levulan followed by pulsed dye laser had complete clearance of their facial acne for a mean duration of 6.4 months. One patient dropped out of the study prior to completion. Four other patients were treated with either Levulan alone or oral antibiotics and did not experience remission.
