Perrigo Company recently reported that the FDA has granted final approval for the manufacturing and marketing of over-the-counter cetirizine hydrochloride tablets (5 mg and 10 mg). This product will be available under store brand labels, and is the generic equivalent of McNeil Consumer Healthcare's Zyrtec[R].
