FDA approves doxycycline tablets, 150 mg

Mylan Laboratories Inc recently announced that it has received FDA approval for doxycycline tablets, 150 mg. This medication will be the equivalent generic version of Par Pharmaceutical's doxycycline tablets, 150 mg which are currently marketed by Doak Dermatologics under the brand name Adoxa[R] Tablets. Mylan already has approval and has been marketing doxycycline tablets in 50, 75, and 10 mg strengths.
